As a retired detective, NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Range Safety Officer (RSO), and Certified LTC Instructor for the state of Texas, I specialize in training women and offer personalized instruction tailored to the unique challenges women face with firearms.
What You'll Learn
- Handgun Anatomy
Understand the parts and functions of your handgun to enhance handling and operation. - Basic Handgun Safety
Learn the key principles of firearm safety, including proper handling, storage, and safe shooting practices. - Grip and Stance
Achieve a stable grip and proper stance to improve accuracy and control, with adjustments tailored to your comfort. - Trigger Control
Develop techniques for a consistent, smooth trigger press to reduce shot anticipation and improve accuracy. - Breathing and Sight Alignment
Understand the role of controlled breathing and sight alignment in improving shot placement and accuracy. - Recoil Management
Learn methods for controlling recoil and staying on target to maintain shooting consistency. - Reloading and Malfunctions
